Esther 5:14

SV	Toen zeide zijn huisvrouw Zeres tot hem, mitsgaders al zijn vrienden: Men make een galg, vijftig ellen hoog, en zeg morgen aan den koning, dat men Mordechai daaraan hange; ga dan vrolijk met den koning tot dien maaltijd. Deze raad nu dacht Haman goed, en hij deed de galg maken.
WLC	וַתֹּ֣אמֶר לֹו֩ זֶ֨רֶשׁ אִשְׁתֹּ֜ו וְכָל־אֹֽהֲבָ֗יו יַֽעֲשׂוּ־עֵץ֮ גָּבֹ֣הַּ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים אַמָּה֒ וּבַבֹּ֣קֶר ׀ אֱמֹ֣ר לַמֶּ֗לֶךְ וְיִתְל֤וּ אֶֽת־מָרְדֳּכַי֙ עָלָ֔יו וּבֹֽא־עִם־הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ אֶל־הַמִּשְׁתֶּ֖ה שָׂמֵ֑חַ וַיִּיטַ֧ב הַדָּבָ֛ר לִפְנֵ֥י הָמָ֖ן וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָעֵֽץ׃ פ
Trans.	watō’mer lwō zereš ’išətwō wəḵāl-’ōhăḇāyw y^a‘ăśû-‘ēṣ gāḇōhha ḥămiššîm ’ammâ ûḇabōqer\| ’ĕmōr lammeleḵə wəyiṯəlû ’eṯ-mārədŏḵay ‘ālāyw ûḇō’-‘im-hammeleḵə ’el-hammišəteh śāmēḥa wayyîṭaḇ hadāḇār lifənê hāmān wayy^a‘aś hā‘ēṣ:

AC	יד ותאמר לו זרש אשתו וכל אהביו יעשו עץ גבה חמשים אמה ובבקר אמר למלך ויתלו את מרדכי עליו ובא עם המלך אל המשתה שמח וייטב הדבר לפני המן ויעש העץ {ס}
ASV	Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made fifty cubits high, and in the morning speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
BE	Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, Let a pillar, fifty cubits high, be made ready for hanging him, and in the morning get the king to give orders for the hanging of Mordecai: then you will be able to go to the feast with the king with a glad heart. And Haman was pleased with the suggestion, and he had the pillar made.
Darby	Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends to him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and in the morning speak to the king that Mordecai may be hanged on it: then go in merrily with the king to the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
ELB05	Da sprachen sein Weib Seresch und alle seine Freunde zu ihm: Man richte einen Baum her, fünfzig Ellen hoch; und am Morgen sage dem König, daß man Mordokai daran hänge. Dann gehe mit dem König fröhlich zum Mahle! Und das Wort dünkte Haman gut, und er ließ den Baum herrichten.
LSG	Zéresch, sa femme, et tous ses amis lui dirent: Qu'on prépare un bois haut de cinquante coudées, et demain matin demande au roi qu'on y pende Mardochée; puis tu iras joyeux au festin avec le roi. Cet avis plut à Haman, et il fit préparer le bois.
Sch	Da sprachen sein Weib Seres und alle seine Freunde zu ihm: Man soll einen Galgen machen, fünfzig Ellen hoch; dann sage du morgen dem König, daß man Mardochai daran hängen soll, so kannst du fröhlich mit dem König zum Mahl gehen. Das gefiel Haman wohl, und er ließ den Galgen zurichten.
Web	Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends to him, Let a gallows be made fifty cubits high, and to-morrow speak thou to the king that Mordecai may be hanged upon it: then go thou in merrily with the king to the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
